Scam. You have been refunded by are avoiding my calls. Not calling back and trying to keep the money. I was attacked by an American Cockroach at 2am when trying to go to the bathroom.
The pool was closed and we called and asked about it. we didn't receive housekeeping service during the entire stay. The material condition of the facilities are declining. The blackout shades in the room did not rise or lower and this was supposed to be our lake view.
There was water stains on the ceilings and on some of the pictures. with our concerns about covid-19 we selected a hotel that professed cleanliness and special precautions. One of those precautions was they eliminated room service! why?
Forcing people to dine in or carry it out. Now the wait staff were excellent and kind but still I would have preferred to eat in our room overlooking the beautiful water that we couldn't see because the blinds couldn't be raised.
oh and because we were expedia customers and paid over $800 for a two night stay in advance the hotel made us checkout and back in each day. so, are we being punished for buying through expedia? It feels like it.
the only redeemable thing here are the frontline staff who actually cared about the guests.
they were beyond nice and worked hard to give a great customer experience. To bad the quality of the environment doesn't match quality of the staff.
