We selected this hotel because one of the amenities listed was pool. When we get here we learn that the outdoor chlorinated pool is closed due to Covid.
Funny, their indoor buffet is open though. The Expedia website lists one of the amenities as a pool! No pool and I have no option but to pay for tonight because we didnt cancel in advance! We dont want to cancel we just want to swim during our stay.
We are very happy. Very unfriendly staff. Expedia is not trying to do anything to make this any better for us. Hotel says since we booked through a 3rd party we have to go through them, Expedia i says we have to go through the hotel.
We are pretty upset!! Our final mini trip of the summer is ruined.
User's recommendation: Do not take the websites word on it- call in advance.
Monetary Loss: $150.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
Expedia Cons: Taking too long to resolve, Inaccurate.
