Expedia - Poor service, unable to travel due to company failure.

New ReviewerOn Friday, October 8, 2021, we were supposed to depart for a trip to Phoenix. I say supposed to because we never actually made the trip.
To the best of my understanding, Expedia reserved our flights but never actually paid the airline for said tickets.
So, here I am, standing at the ticket counter, along with my wife and two children and all of our bags, waiting on hold for an hour and 21 minutes, only to be told theres absolutely nothing Expedia can or will do. No other flights, no options, not going to send the airline the money. Nothing.
I have to tell my wife and kids that the vacation theyve been looking forward to for better than six months was canceled. We simply turned around, walked back to the shuttle and got in the car.
And to make matters worse, we got a chipper email from Expedia asking how our call with customer service went. The answer is poorly.
User's recommendation: Avoid Expedia.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
