Dear Expedia, my name is Albert Claud Parker. This matter concerns my planned June 13, 2021 trip to Rome, Italy and reservation (#535**** for stay at the Hotel Piemonte) was a no go, all because I couldn't board the American Airlines flight from Orlando, FL to Dallas Ft. Worth, TX (to board my connecting Iberia Airlines flight to Rome, Italy) because Italy would have sent me back to USA due to my COVID-19 test being older than 73 hours. I took a fresh Covid-19 test at Orlando airport which cost me $175 for 30-minutes results, and was negative. But my flight ticket reservation was canceled by CheapOair to avoid (I was old) a no show. But that turned out to be a manipulative line of crap. I was really pissed off. I tried several times to reach a CheapOair supervisor in New York to discuss how this Issue can be satisfactorily resolved after Liberia Airlines (supposedly, as claimed by CheapOair) claimed they did not refund on any low budget tickets, no matter what the reason was, regardless whether if it's Covid-19 related or not. I cursed and raised a bunch of *** Another CheapOair agent called me and said he had spoken to colleagues and was told a new reservation was okay. But that turned out to be a manipulative lie told by CheapOair. So it ends up I, a 73 year old Black American, have been cheated out of going to Rome, and correspondingly cheated out of my stay at Hotel Piemonte amounting to $579.66. To avoid any public-amplified lawsuit (which will be handled by distinguished firm Levin &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Perconti), please aid me in receiving a cash back of the above amounts to my Master Card #53**480* 520*. 41**. I sent an appropriate email to Hotel Piemonte in Rome requesting cancellation and cash back to my card, and I received an email confirmation back from hotel indicating the Hotel could not cancel the reservation (only Expedia) and that cash back could only be handled by Expedia. Hello,
We haven't made any charge on the given credit card.
By the way, the only way to delete this reservation is trought expedia and
We can't do it by our own.
Moreover there is the penalty of the first night to pay due to a
cancellation within 24 hours of the check in time.
We will charge the price of the first night as shown in the cancellation
policy.
