Expedia is useless.
Their customer service is appalling.
They do not read their emails correctly, or transfer you to some one who can assist.
Our Trip was cancelled due to COVID -19 and our trip was made by STA travel who has gone into liquidation.No longer operational .Due to STA travel making the booking I am not authorised to contact Expedia '
about my booking. Expedia advise to contact STA ???
I have since contacted the accommodation in Maldives to see if they can assist. They advised all money transferred back to Expedia.Dead end again.
No one on the customer care email/ complaints team answers the emails with all supportive documentary evidence from STA booking.
I have since contacted ACCC as Expedia will not respond to me with my booking - they either are holding our funds or STA travel .
User's recommendation: no way - you will be tossed around like a yoyo.
