Awful experience with Expedia team

I had a conversation with the Expedia team, and not only was it unhelpful, but after several attempts, I managed to get in touch with someone. However, I was charged $1 from my credit card for each conversation, and I was not aware that I had to pay for these interactions. Additionally, out of the 5 conversations I initiated, only one was successful, but I was charged $5 for all 5!

Car rental issue

I just filled this out and somehow now I got to fill it out again that's *** me off so I got off the plane place an order for a rental car through Expedia which pops up on everything that I try to do vacation wise and somehow or another I got Expedia Columbia which I don't know I'm in the United States how that happened so when I called them I was referred to talk to Columbia Expedia for what reason I don't know I booked my vacation with Expedia America so I rented the car paid the amount that was needed went to get the car and it was unavailable to me they had no cars why did I pay and they had no car so I sat around the airport trying to get a vehicle for 2 hours with my family of two young ladies and my wife only not to get a vehicle to take an Uber home and be told I'd have to come back the next day for the rental vehicle so I had to get an Uber the next day to get out to the rental airport pick up my vehicle and I'm still charged an extra day for a vehicle I did not have also trying to get a hold of customer service on my vacation waiting hours on the phone and then telling them to call me back I need to be called back hours later this is a waste of time I spent a lot of money to spend on my vacation and not have to deal with stuff like this customer service is unacceptable in the way they handle the people that have already booked and paid with them

Aweful. I was on hold In total for over 6 hours.

The modification of flights wasn't captured by your system. After a 2 hour wait/ conversation I was advised to wait 24 hours and call back the following day. As a result , the flights I needed to purchase to return home were sold out! I had to purchase my tickets for the NEXT day additional cost was 736$ !

In addition, another hotel stay- 235$, additional pay for my dogs , 100$ , uber to the airport- 45$ i had to take off another day at work. YOUR ADVICE WAS AWEFUL! You should treat your customers better.

I will never use your company again. And I will share my experiences with others as well.

Oct 4 at same hotel I was unable to get in my room to take shower after long day of work due to complete lock down . No appolige and no compensation issued . I was unable to get in room until 10 PM that night

Until someone actually talks to me.... I most certainly do not recommend anyone deal with this company. It's a vicious run around of the same options that don't help and then they disconnect the line!

Trying to cancel a reservation and get refunded, your automated service sucks and no real live person to talk too!!! Tried online, what a joke! You're ripping me off of about 170 bucks and I demand a refund ASAP

Emergency with flights

The web page for flight selection and calendar needs more work. Inadvertently, I booked departure and return dates on the same day. I called Expedia for help to correct it and was told I had to pay an extra $300 USA dollars for the mistake. Take time to check how American Airlines does the flight booking.

No CoVid ticket refund!! Info was lost! Gave their Itinerary # . Couldnt find it. Spent hours on phone with no results. Supervisors cut me off. Back to a different Agent and start all over again. Today, I was on the call for almost 6 hrs asking me to do all the work. Check your bank account, check your credit card. Check your Expedia a/c. Prove your booking. Email from Expedia sent with confirmation. Expiration date Sept 30, 2023. Always going to get back to me !!!

Stay For the army boot camp graduation but due to medical reasons she can't graduate. So I tried cancelling for a refund and was told they do not refund.
