The Holiday Inn Express room was written up a having two bedrooms, showed a picture of two queen beds and a written comment of one twin bed. So I thought there was a room with two queens and another with a double.
It has one queen in a bedroom and a sofa sleeper I what was the living space. Ask the hotel to let us change rooms. They said we had to go through Expedia. Tried to message Expedia and got cut off and tech would not reset to do it online.
Called and sat on hold for 30 min. Finally talked to a person. She had me sit on hold for 15 mins when the guy got in with me I had to retell they whole problem. He had me sit on hold for at least 10 min while he called the hotel.
Then came back to me and said the hotel was not answering the phone. So he would email them. He also said I would get an email from Expedia with a voucher for $50 for my next stay. Well I still have no voucher from them and nothing from the hotel.
Very disappointed in both of these companies. Bad service on both parts.

Preferred solution: I need to change the date of my flight from tomorrow 01/12/, I have an emergency meeting on Saturday and I won't be able to travel tomorrow, I need to change the date to Sunday 01/14/24
