STUCK IN AIRPORT WITH CANCELLED FLIGHT. CONTACTED EXPEDIA TO CANCEL HOTEL FOR THAT NIGHT. THEY WOULD NOT DO SO WITHOUT MY PASSWORD EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER. SAID TO CALL THE HOTEL. I tried to book a trip on Expedia. when I tried to pay, the site said my card was denied. I called the bank and they said no problem with the card. Called Expedia customer support, which by the way is in the Philippines. They offered to try and help me book the trip. They tried 11 times! Expedia changed my flight without notification to a flight I could not use. I called them immediately. They refused to correct this because they said that one of the buttons I selected changed my flight choice. I did not select a button to do this and there was np clue that they had made the change. I asked to speak to a supervisor. After 20 minutes, he said he would not fix it. I paid $50 insurance in case I had to change flights, but refused... Read more

In May 2016, I booked my flights to Saudi Arabia via Expedia.com to travel in December 2016. After booking my flights, I booked my hotel accommodation and planned my leave accordingly. IN August I received an email advising that I should contact Expedia, I then called and spoke to an Expedia agent Micheal on 27 August who advised me that we can no longer fly on the 16/12 as booked we must now fly on the 15/12. this happened twice: I booked a flight with expedia and rented a car same time, the timing for the rental cars was way off so I was charged extra by the rental car companies. The second time I noticed before and tried to adjust with Hertz. They said it would be no problem. I made a hotel reservation through Expedia and received a confirmation by email. When I tried to check into the hotel they did not have my reservation and they were sold out. I called Expedia who claimed their computers were down and to call back in 2 hours. I told them this was not acceptable and I needed assistance. Booked Car for trip in Mexico including mandatory insurance. Car company (RENTAL CAR) did not accept the paid insurance and required an additional car insurance for US$540. I booked a flight for myself and sister and also purchased thier travel protection plan, then my sister had to back out , Expedia would not allow any chages what so ever even though they sold me a Travel Protection insurance.
