My Wife and I booked roundtrip flights, when our credit card bill was received one month later. We had an $8.00 Expedia charge we new nothing about. When I call they refused to reverse the charge and said I would get on email. Very DECEPTIVE practice, you know you lost my business. I booked a car through expedia, “Advantage” was supposed to provide a car as per the confirmed booking by expedia. The Advantage refused to provide a car based on the expedia confirmation. I was unable to pick the car based on expdia confirmation and presentation of my valid driving license and credit card. I have been offered a refund for Expedia fee from Air France since I booked the ticket using my credit. I was asked to go ahead make the booking with Air France and pay the fee only to get reimbursed later. I followed these instruction by the supervisor (Jewel) and later provided him the receipts. I recently booked an Alaskan Airline package and have bought numerous packages in the past and always been satisfied. NEVER AGAIN! What a scam! I phoned and asked where the 33 dollar rates were. The girl said they sold out. It just came a class action law suit waiting to happen. She said i would have to pay 479 dollars. I never told her where i was or where i was going.

Terrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend Expedia to my worst enemy. They are absolutely horrible in terms of customer service and their ability to find the best deal out there. It apparently takes them 8 weeks to get a refund for the ticket as well. So ya, they basically stole my money for 8 weeks with zero remorse on the phone. They acted as if "what are you going to do about it" attitude the entire conversation. I have no idea how this... Read more

i made a reservation for an orlando hotel in october 2016 (conf. id 16248sb030048) unaware that orlando would soon be impacted by an october hurricane not only did local authorities recommend that people not travel to orlando but, in the days immediately before the hurricane it was absolutely impossible to get hold of anyone in order to cancel the reservation not only did expedia deny any need for the cancellation but, they demanded full payment... Expedia are the biggest liars and most deceitful company I have ever dealt with .... They will not help you they will work the complaint around in their favour because they will never admit when they make a mistake. Never ever book with them

This evening I was on the phone with Expedia for 1 hour and 58 mins. waiting to speak with a supervisor. I booked a trip through them in July 2016 for our vacation next year and was told that I would receive a full refund if I needed to cancel before March of 2017. Liars liars liars.
