Within 24 hrs of booking a holiday with Global Travel Agency (GTA), there was a crisis which meant I could not travel. Immediately I spoke to GTA who said it was refundable as Expedia would not cancel. So I called Expedia, who verified that I was the Customer and not the TA, then cancelled the Hotel, but gave the refund of GBP 449/-to Global TA who are not returning it to me, despite calls, visits and emails. Expedia should have told me they were giving it back to the TA instead of to me - I would have decided against cancellation knowing GTA were not a reputable TA like Thomas Cook, and would sit on my money. Therefore Expedia, should refund the money to me now, and get reimbursed by GTA or blacklist them.
