Jan.5,2014 I went online to order a plane ticket from tampa to milwaukee to be used in March. I did not submit this ticket because I wnted to make sure I got the right dates. I booked with hotels.com, billing done by expidia, I cancelled due to a mis-selling of product (lots of hidden extras). I was informed I would not be charged, I went away to come back and find expidia had billed be £461.02 I'm march its now end of may and father 50 emails, 5 hours on the phone they finally admit its there fault, but Iv still not had the refund, just lots of apologises and everyone is so sorry to hear about my experience but yet... I had a very worst experience with Expedia on this Memorial long weekend. I booked the Extended Day America hotel in Fremont through Expedia and the booking was confirmed through email and got the the Text to my mobile also. Then I traveled with my wife and 3 years old daughter to Fremont from Los Angeles for visiting San Francisco. Made two hotel reservations thru Expedia. They promised to email me directions to the hotel and a receipt. Never received the emails. Couldn't understand the rep on the phone so I googled the hotel name for directions and addresses. When I got to the hotel I did have my rooms. The customer service from Expedia was very poor. I would still like my receipt! Add comment

I just had the worst experience with Expedia online and calling the call center. I tried to book a round trip flight Las Vegas to Minneapolis online - received a message stating there were some difficulties and to try again. I booked flight from San Diego to Paris and through to Warsaw on Air France for May 31, 2016 for my mother and me more than 2 weeks ago I bought the trip change/trip cancellation package on Expedia. Made expedia hotel reservation in boston for king size suite at revere hotel. On arrival, no more kings available even thou i paid large fee. They put me in a two bed full size room, trying to claim the neds as queen, no way, i own a queen at home, these were full size childrens beds. I booked a mystery hotel last week for our Disneyland vacation. I have never had a problem doing this with other sites in the past so I figured it wouldn't be an issue with expedia. We were scheduled to arrive on Saturday at 4pm... so our plan was to lay by the pool all evening before our 3 days in the park. The wonderful people from expedia were all smiles and very polite when booking my hotel for a one night stay for my family (2 adults, 2 children and a dog). I submitted a claim within the 24 hr time period with the EXACT same flights that I had booked with Expedia, showing them the cheaper price on another travel website. They e-mailed me back (not within their 72 hr time frame) but 4 days later saying my claim was denied as 1 of the flight numbers in my screen shot was cut off.
